Prior to your procedure, a member of our nursing team will reach out to review your medical history, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel informed and at ease going into your surgery. You’re not on your own in the days leading up to your visit — our team is with you from the start.

Wisdom Teeth FAQs
Your dentist will typically identify impacted or problematic wisdom teeth during a routine X-ray evaluation. Common symptoms include jaw pain, swelling, difficulty opening your mouth, or crowding of adjacent teeth. If your dentist has recommended extraction, an oral surgeon evaluation is the appropriate next step.
Most patients experience mild to moderate discomfort for 2–3 days following extraction and return to normal activities within a week. We provide detailed post-operative instructions at your appointment and are available by phone if questions arise during recovery.
Dental Implant FAQs
Most adults with adequate bone density and good overall health are candidates for dental implants. Dr. Hille will evaluate your bone structure and medical history during your consultation to determine the best treatment plan for your situation.
With proper care, dental implants are designed to last a lifetime. The crown placed on top of the implant may need to be replaced over time, but the implant post itself is a permanent fixture.
Sedation FAQs
Sedation level depends on the procedure and your personal preferences. IV sedation (monitored anesthesia care) is commonly used for wisdom teeth removal and implant placement and produces a deep, sleep-like state. A dedicated CRNA manages your anesthesia throughout the procedure — separate from Dr. Hille, who focuses entirely on the surgery.
You will receive specific pre-operative instructions at your consultation. Our guideline for patients undergoing IV sedation is to fast for at least 6–8 hours beforehand and arrange for a responsible adult to drive them home and remain with them for several hours after the procedure.

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Closed on major holidays, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and the Monday after Easter.
Preparing for Your Appointment
- Bring a valid photo ID and your insurance information
- Bring a list of current medications and any known allergies
- If sedation is planned, you must fast for 8 hours prior to your appointment and arrange for a driver to bring you home
- Complete any paperwork sent by our office prior to your visit
- Arrive a few minutes early for your scheduled appointment time
